About this event
Make your ticket count in a meaningful way. By adding $20, you are directly investing in the future of local students and helping remove financial barriers to their education.
Your support helps fund the Marie Whitaker Scholarship for high school juniors, the Dorothy James Scholarship for seniors, and the Claire McGeehan Scholarship, a renewable four-year award that continues to support one student throughout their college journey.
A small addition can make a lasting impact—help us continue opening doors for the next generation.
Walk through South Media with Eric Townes, Founder and Director of the Unifying Group of Media, and experience the neighborhood’s history as it unfolds step by step. Starting at Martha Burton Park and ending at 2nd Baptist Church of Media, this tour brings local stories, history, and community connections to life.
This walk will take place on Saturday May 2nd at 12:00 pm.
Step into history with Jeannine Osayande, a lifelong resident, researcher and podcast creator who has documented the voices and stories of this historic neighborhood.
