Deliverance Ministry & Healing Center (DMHC), Fort Worth, Texas, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, where we are committed to meeting the spiritual and physical needs of families in our communities. With ministries in each of the fifty states, this event is focused on the communities in and surrounding Tarrant County, Texas. We have served our various communities in West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland and Texas for over 15 years providing referral resources, transitional and emergency housing, intensive case management, food, clothing, transportation and counseling to youth and families in all phases of housing crisis. We would like your partnership in addressing the hunger and homelessness issue in our communities.  For the last 8 years, our ministry has facilitated our “Feed the Community” event which includes food baskets for individuals and families and a community Thanksgiving Family Dinner on Thanksgiving Day. This annual event provides a homecooked meal for hundreds of families in an environment that feels like "home" with games, music, fellowship and more. We strive to help those in crisis have a sense of normalcy while providing needed resources to aid them in overcoming their current situation. In December, we provide food baskets to families in need without regard to income. We serve the populations that are often missed. There are many working adults who face the difficulties of feeding their families healthy meals or even one meal a day because of the increasing cost of housing and food across the country.  By getting involved you can change the trajectory of someone’s life. Join us in the fight against hunger and homelessness! DMHC is currently seeking support to raise funds for our “Feed the Community” 5K Walk/Run on October 26, 2024, in downtown Fort Worth. Our goal this year is $50, 000 with this we can serve 500 families this year. We need your help! All proceeds from our event will go directly to “Feed the Community” events in which we will distribute food baskets, provide clothing, prevent evictions, secure permanent or transitional housing and provide weekly meals to families throughout the year. No donation is to small. We invite you to become a partner.  Please help us spread the work as we work together to help build community assets by providing resources for those needing assistance. It is better when we do it together!
