The Turin Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club is a nonprofit organization located in Turin, New York. During the course of the winter season, we maintain snowmobile trails for thousands of riders in the Tug Hill region of New York. Our club also hosts many events to benefit community members in need. Recently, we have been tasked with organizing a snowmobile event to raise money in memory of Richard (Richie) Van Der Wall, a past club member who subsequently passed away after a brief fight against pancreatic cancer.  The wife of the deceased, Karen, told her family and the club that the fight against this lethal disease would not stop with her husband's death. This is when we began planning an event where all proceeds go towards pancreatic cancer research and the Turin Ridge Riders. This event will consist of a combination of a snowmobile poker run, a large beefsteak dinner, a 50/50 raffle, and a tricky tray. A date of January 27th, 2024 has been booked to hold this event.    Richie's passion was to ride snowmobiles, he loved every bit of the winter. His hobby became a family affair, which led to a local following in the realm of snowmobiling.
