Go to website <a style="color:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit">mhsaadc.org</a> and click on Members.   Upcoming Chapter Events Events:Summer 2025 - Spartans go Camping & Spartans go Rafting - <a href="http://eepurl.com/bUgbRD" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit">Subscribe to our newsletter here to get information and dates on Events.</a> A Note about our Meetings:-MHSAA requires us to have Chapter Meetings quarterly and all members are required to attend at least 2 meetings in order to keep their membership.  Our meetings are held on Zoom and in person.  Zoom meeting invites for the meetings are posted to our Facebook page a few weeks before the meeting, sent out to our mailing list and to all dues paying members.  Check your spam!  We need a minimum of 7 dues paying members to attend each meeting in order to have a quorum so your attendance is very much needed!   -One of the benefits of being a dues paying member of the DC Chapter is that you can vote on Chapter Business and for Chapter Officers and even run for Chapter office if you want to!  You also need to be a dues paying member of MHSAA so be sure your dues are paid on their website as well.  We hold Chapter Elections every summer and dues paying members can be nominated.  President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary are voted on every year.  The Chapter Rep position is a three year term.  Explanation of Chapter Office's President - The elected leader of the Chapter.  Responsible for running the quarterly meetings and the Chapter voting once a year.  Comes up with a yearly initiative and list of goals they would like to achieve during their term.  Organizes the formation of committees to spread the responsibility of the chapter duties. Vice-President - Supports the President  Secretary - Takes notes during the meetings and creates/updates minutes.  Provides the Minutes to Chapter Rep. Treasurer - Manages Chapter finances.  Works with MHSAA Treasurer.   Chapter Rep -  Attends MHSAA Board Meetings and communicates Chapter Business to them.  Submits Chapter Minutes to the board during board meetings.
