The Donut Dash is a fun and engaging community event designed to promote health, fitness, and community spirit in Springfield, Vermont. The 1 Mile run is scheduled for July 12th at 3:30 PM, the event will take place in front of the Springfield Cinema 3 as part of the larger Street Fest celebration. We will run a mile down Main St and over onto Mineral Street and back to Main to finish at the Cinema!

- Participation Fee: $25 (includes a medal and donut at the finish line)

- Youth (10 and under): FREE

Event Purpose:

The primary objectives of the 1Mile Donut Dash is to:

- Encourage community participation in physical activity.

- Raise awareness and fundraise for Project ACTION, (Assembling Community to Improve Our Neighborhoods) and Springfield on the Move!

Mission Statement:

Project Action’s mission is to work collaboratively with community stakeholders to mitigate the impact of crime, address substance misuse, and support residents in treatment and recovery. Their vision is dedicated to utilizing community collaboration to share information and identify necessary action steps towards the overall betterment of our community.

Community Engagement:

Participants are encouraged to bring their families and pets to foster a sense of community. The event will be followed by the Street Fest, featuring local vendors, live music, and various activities, ensuring a full day of enjoyment for all.
