Misael Barraza-Diaz is a Mexican guitarist who has won ten internationalcompetitions in classical guitar, as well as over thirty regional and nationalguitar contests. He has a DMA in guitar performance from the Universityof Arizona, in addition to two Master’s degrees in classical guitar.Nevertheless, the artist has also mastered the art of flamenco guitar, anarea in which he is most active today.In 2010, Misael was awarded first prize at the Concurso Nacional deFlamenco in Albuquerque (NM) at the prestigious Festival de Flamenco.Since then, the artist has become one of the top flamenco guitarists in thecountry, and is sought after for his skills as a soloist and as anaccompanist. He regularly performs with the top flamenco companies inArizona, as well as maintaining a successful solo guitar career.Misael is currently involved in the recording and production of multiplediscographic projects, and is extremely pleased to be able to present hislatest album "El Camino Forjado" (2023).
