The lanterns, with a tag of your loved ones name in both English and Japanese, decorate the path for the Temple’s Obon dancers.  The Obon lanterns are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The cut-off date to either renew or order a new lantern is July 12, 2024. The number of lanterns is limited. Only one name per tag is allowed. The name will be typed both in Japanese characters and in English. You only need to give us your loved ones full English name. The tags will be attached to the bottom of the lanterns and displayed above the dancers.
