Non-Certified Members are eligible to vote on society motions and play an active role in shaping the future of the organization and the profession in Missouri.

ABO Certified Optician Membership
For opticians who have earned and maintain ABO certification through the American Board of Opticianry.

This membership supports continuing education, professional growth, advocacy, and connection within Missouri’s optical community through the Show-Me State Opticians Society. Members also receive access to benefits through the United Opticians Association.

ABO Certified Members are eligible to vote on society motions and help shape the future direction of the organization. We’re proud to support certified opticians who are committed to advancing the profession and delivering a higher standard of care.

For industry partners, optical supporters, vendors, practices, and individuals who want to support the mission and growth of opticianry in Missouri.

This membership helps strengthen continuing education, professional development, advocacy, and community initiatives through the Show-Me State Opticians Society. Supporters also receive opportunities for connection and visibility within Missouri’s optical community.

Optical Partner / Supporter Members are valued supporters of the society, but do not hold voting rights on society motions.
