Edible Plant Walk ID & Lunch

Join veteran members of Stratford’s Herbal Study Group for a spring walk in our gardens and woods to identify and learn how to incorporate culinary wild plants into your own meals. Then stay for lunch and sample dishes made from edibles obtainable this time of year.  You'll get to take home handouts and recipes to try making some yourself at home.

Below is everything you need to know: What to Wear / Bring<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Dress for the weather. It's best to wear layers to be comfortable for all aspects of the event. </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Wear waterproof boots that can get muddy.  We have some boots available for borrowing, but sizes are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">A camera to capture your experience - We love seeing your photos and videos.  If you'd like to share any with us after the event, please send them to share@stratfordecologicalcenter.org.</li></ul>WeatherThis is a rain or shine program.  Please dress for the weather.  In the event of extreme or unsafe weather we will cancel and/or reschedule if possible.  We will notify you of any cancellations.  Cancellation PolicyIf you need to cancel for any reason, you have a couple of options:1. Notify us at least two weeks in advance of your cancellation and donate your registration fee - we will send you a donation acknowledgement letter for tax purposes 2. Notify us at least 2 weeks in advance and request a refund. Refunds take 5-10 business days to process. Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the program are not eligible for a refund, but please let us know so we can plan accordingly.  Cancellation requests should be e-mailed to info@stratfordecologicalcenter.org.
