Park Pals at Pop's on Pioneer!

We are thrilled to be expanding our programming and thank Pop's and our volunteer teachers for helping us offer additional programs!

Join Park Pals at Pop's this summer and enjoy a 30 minutes early childhood focused play group. We sing songs like Baby Shark, Wheels on the Bus, ad Shake Your Sillies Out!

A Park Pals leader will lead the 30 minute group time and each session is filled with shaker eggs, rhythm scarves, and bubbles!

You are always welcome to bring bubbles to share! We *blow* through bubbles quickly!

Things to know:

Everyone is welcome! This is focused on early childhood development, but open to all ages who like to sing, dance, and connect with community

Caregivers are required to stay with their littles

Bring a blanket to sit on for the program

Most importantly: There is no wrong way to play. Follow your child's lead and have fun! If they want to run around, so be it! Everyone is welcome to have fun in their own way.

Park Pals is a nonprofit organization and we run on donations! This program is FREE of charge to the community! You can donate to our mission here: Donate Here! or check out our Amazon Wishlist!

More About Park Pals:

Park Pals, a local 501(c)(3) organization, offers free, innovative play-based programming for young children and families throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. The mission of Park Pals is to prepare children for school and life through the acquisition of age-appropriate skills (gross and fine motor, communication and social emotional), early literacy, independence, and music exploration in an inclusive and welcoming environment. The program also engages parents and caregivers to help them confidently connect with children in their own homes in order to foster continued growth and development.

Programming

To support the importance of play as well as the notion of play as a right of every child, Park Pals provides high-quality, early learning activities, outdoor exploration and community engagement to babies and toddlers from all backgrounds. All program sessions are designed to align with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Program Standards as well as the locally-based Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS). These sets of standards, both of which promote high-quality programming for young children and their families, are supported by science and backed by research professionals in the field of early childhood education (ECE). Sessions are free of charge and take place in county parks and neighborhood facilities—community centers, school gymnasiums and athletic centers—to help ensure that programming is fully accessible to all who want to participate.
