Join us at the Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business and Industry for our first printing workshop! This unique opportunity will allow you to spend two hours rotating between the printshop and foundry stations. In the printshop, you will see a historic Chandler Press in operation, set type, and take home a personalized souvenir from your experience. In the foundry area, you will learn about the casting process and use unique items for block printing to make a one-of-a-kind bag or t-shirt to take home with you.
Due to the nature of this program space is very limited. We have room for 12 printers. This program is recommended for ages 10 and up. Parents must stay with their children 15 and under, but do not have to print themselves. If printing, parents need to purchase an adult printing ticket ahead of time. If NOT printing, parents will pay $5 at the door the day of the workshop.
Cost Printing Adults $25
Printing Kids $20
Non-printing adults $5
