Flannel Roots, a Micro Permaculture Farm located in Belle Vernon, will present on culinary mushrooms and their various applications. From cooking, to drying, to making jerky and powder, come and learn the many different ways to prepare and consume edible mushrooms. Additionally, participants will learn a DIY Mushroom Spice Rub/Salt.
Included in the workshop, each participant can choose a culinary mushroom, and a variety of spices to blend and take home for their own personal use.
Fresh and jerky mushrooms will also be available for purchase.
