Our event on Friday, May 2, 2025, is a live and silent auction full of fellowship and fun. It focuses on ensuring that our friends and neighbors receive a hand-up to get them through life's most difficult circumstances. The funds raised during the event go directly back into supporting our programs.TEEG has been working to meet the needs of low-income individuals and families since its inception in 1988. During these 36 years, our agency has continued to develop innovative programming to meet the unique needs of the families we serve in northeast Connecticut. As TEEG continues to grow, it has established itself as a vital resource to our community, offering several basic needs programs, including emergency and ongoing food assistance, heating assistance, state, and federal benefits assistance, holiday programs (Thanksgiving and Christmas), homelessness support, summer camp scholarships, and client care coordination.
