Virtual Ticket - Elements of Healing

An expressive arts workshop for women and female-identifying individuals who want to build community and heal from past trauma. Let&#39;s reconnect with our inner strength in this virtual dance/movement session for women reclaiming a sense of safety and wholeness in the body. Guided by the four elements &mdash; Earth for grounding, Fire for energy, Water for balance, and Air for flexibility &mdash; we&#39;ll release tension, process emotion, and rediscover the body as a source of hope.&nbsp; We&#39;ll close with a short guided art-making portion to help process and reflect on what surfaced in movement. Like nature after a storm, healing isn&#39;t a straight line; it&#39;s a cycle of rest, insight, and regrowth. No movement or art experience needed &mdash; just an open heart and a willingness to move. Workshop will be led by: Vicki Alvarez is a Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist with an MS in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute. She has worked with diverse populations ranging from young children to seniors with dementia, using movement as a tool for connection and healing. Clory Rossi-Shewan is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Originally trained professionally in ballet and modern dance, she now integrates dance/movement therapy into her clinical work with neurodivergent individuals, couples, families, and children.
