Join us on Saturday, August 9th from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at Actors Theatre of Louisville for a special evening honoring the life and passion of Elise Wobbe, a gifted young artist whose love for musical theatre inspired all who knew her. Elise was a dedicated musical theatre student at Syracuse University and a proud alumna of the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS). In addition to being a talented stage performer, Elise was an incredible supporter of her friends and fellow performers. When she wasn&#39;t on stage herself, she was often in the audience, cheering on others and lifting them up. To carry forward her light and support the next generation of performers, the Elise Wobbe Scholarship has been established. This scholarship is awarded annually to a YPAS senior who will be studying musical theatre in college, helping them continue Elise&#39;s dream and share their talents with the world. The evening will begin with cocktails, followed by heartfelt performances in the Pamela Brown Auditorium by artists and organizations special to Elise. We&#39;re especially honored to feature Carter Hadley, the first recipient of the Elise Wobbe Scholarship for 2025. Carter truly embodies Elise&#39;s spirit, talent, and dedication to musical theatre. This fall, he will attend NYU to major in musical theatre, continuing his journey toward the stage. During the evening, he will share his incredible gifts through a vocal performance and a tap number &mdash; a powerful reminder of the legacy Elise continues to inspire in young artists. We warmly welcome everyone &mdash; those who knew and loved Elise, and those who share a passion for uplifting young artists in our community. Together, we can ensure Elise&#39;s legacy continues to shine brightly, both on stage and beyond.
