In the spirit of the RESTORATIVE PERFORMANCE in-person workshops (which will continue!) of building art and performances from the ground up, we will continue this exploration into telling our own stories with the written word and beyond. We start each session with a theme, and participants can bring in, or devise improvisationally, art or creative writing that speaks to the moment. This can be poetry, monologue, movement &amp; dance, photography, collage, fabric arts, performance art, whatever artistic path you want to take. Our first session&#39;s theme is &quot;Mayhem &amp; Meaning.&quot; Bring your creative gifts to bear by creating and showing us some of your work that inspires you, whether that is personal or political mayhem. Meaning can be made by the experience of making the art itself and sharing it with a small group of supportive fellow creators. You can bring something, or there will be many ways to devise in the moment, or participate in someone else&#39;s vision as an actor or scene-hand! Scene-writing, playwriting, short stories, poetry, movement, song, collage, through every creative lens, we will play with this medium with the same embodied focus brought to our bodies through the RESTORATIVE PERFORMANCE workshops.
