Recorrido a pie por Bayou Road + Hora Feliz, presentado por AIA Nueva Orleans Profesionales Emergentes y NOMA

Walk the Block. Read the City. AIA New Orleans Emerging Professionals and NOMA are hosting a guided walking tour of Bayou Road — one of the oldest streets in New Orleans and the heart of the Seventh Ward — led by architect and urban thinker Chris Daemmrich of collab.. This isn't a textbook lesson. It's an on-the-ground exploration of how history, culture, community, and the built environment collide in one of the city's most layered and significant corridors. We'll trace the streets, storefronts, and structures that tell the real story of who has shaped this neighborhood — and who has been shaped by it. If you care about designing cities that actually work for the people who live in them, this is the kind of field research that doesn't happen in a studio.
