Engineering Transportation with LEGO® Robotics WeDo 2.0

Join us on an exciting journey through the world of transportation and engineering with LEGO&reg; WeDo 2.0! This hands-on, project-based class introduces students to the evolution of transportation while exploring the mechanics behind modern vehicles. Through interactive builds and coding challenges, students will learn how cars work, how they&rsquo;re powered, and how technology is shaping the future of mobility. What Students Will Learn: 🚗 Transportation Explained &amp; Evolution Discover how transportation has evolved from simple carts to autonomous electric vehicles.Understand the impact of innovation on how we move people and goods. 🔧 LEGO&reg; WeDo 2.0 Fundamentals Identify and use the main parts and building pieces of the WeDo 2.0 kit.Explore the WeDo 2.0 app interface and learn how to use coding blocks to bring creations to life. 🛠️ Engineering a Car Build and understand the car chassis, main components, and suspension system.Learn how steering, braking, and tyres contribute to vehicle control and safety. ⚙️ Power and Propulsion Dive into motor blocks, engine and fuel systems, and how vehicles generate motion.Compare traditional engines with electric vehicles and their electrical systems. 🧠 Smart Vehicles and Automation Use sensor blocks and flow blocks to simulate autonomous vehicle behavior.Understand how modern cars use sensors and logic to navigate and make decisions. 💡 Support Systems and Innovation Explore the electrical and support systems that keep vehicles running smoothly.Discuss the future of transportation and how students can be part of the innovation.
