- The value of this auction item is up to $144,000.100% of the proceeds from the winning bid of this auction item will go directly to Palisades Dolphin Strong(PDS)(EIN: 33-3207866).The winning bid is non-refundable and not contingent on final construction.Prize Transfer and Post-Event Offers The winner of the auction ("Winner")may transfer the prize to a homeowner("Homeowner") as long as they meet the Qualification Criteria and Terms of Use within.
- If theWinner does not know anyone that meets the criteria to transfer the donation, PDS may, at its discretion, help find a homeowner in need.If no qualifying bid is received during the live auction at the July 20, 2025 event,Everlasting Homes Building Group (EHBG) and Palisades Dolphin Strong (PDS)reserve the right to offer the package post-event for a period of six (6) months to pre-qualified supporters or donors.Qualification CriteriaThe Design by Everlasting HomesBuilding Group (EHBG) must be for a new home rebuild on a property affected by the January 2025 Palisades or Eaton fires.
- TheWinner or Homeowner must own the property. This item cannot be transferred to any non-fire affected property. The Winner orHomeowner cannot sell this item. EHBG has final approval over any transferee.Design Specifications The maximum house size to be designed is 3,000 sf (Total framed area) on a relatively flat lot, with one or two stories, using RSG3D SCIP technology and proprietary UltraHigh Performance Concrete(UHPC). Homes that require more than two stories, pile-ons or special geological considerations are not qualified unless the homeowner pays for the additional engineering cost.
- The Design Phase will include 5 revision rounds.
- The Design Phase must begin within three (3) months after a qualifying bid is received whether at auction or post-auction. If not started, the offer expires unless otherwise agreed to in writing by EHBG and theWinner orHomeowner.TheWinner orHomeowner has the option of not continuing past the DesignPhase to the Construction Phase.Additional Design services beyond what is included above (example: for multistory homes, a slope lot requiring special foundations, total surface greater than3,000 sf, etc...) may be added and paid by Homeowner at the following rates: $48/sf for additional square footage beyond 3,000 sf of total framed areaIf more than two stories and/or if pile-ons or special geological considerations, a proposal will be submitted to homeowner for approval before design starts for the actual cost of engineering services (no mark-up).Construction SpecificationsShould theWinner or Homeowner decide to continue into the ConstructionPhase, he or she will be responsible for all associated costs, to be determined and signed under a construction agreement. The construction agreement must be signed within three (3) months after the Design phase is completed. The Winner or Homeowner of theDesign services must use EHBG for the construction of the SCIP/UHPC home. Should theWinner or Homeowner decide to use another builder, EHBG andWinner orHomeowner must agree in writing and the design fees must be paid entirely to EHBG. The luxury home built by EHGB will be turn-key, resistant to fires and earthquakes, and energy efficient, built with a flat or slightly sloped roof, on a relatively flat lot, for approximately $500 to $600 per sq foot of framed area, depending on finish selections by homeowner.
