Designed especially for educators, this hands-on coastal field experience invites you to explore the dynamic world of rocky shore tide pools.&nbsp;Join Seacoast Science Center at Odiorne Point State Park to investigate the intertidal zone&mdash;home to an incredible diversity of animals and seaweeds uniquely adapted to life between the tides. As you search for crabs, sea stars, mussels, urchins, and more, you&rsquo;ll experience how tide pooling sparks curiosity, close observation, and inquiry&mdash;making it a powerful way to introduce students to marine ecosystems and adaptation. Participants will earn 2 hours of professional development. Space is limited to 30 people max, and we need a minimum of 8 people to run this program. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. All registrations are final, and refunds will not be issued unless NHEE cancels the event.
