We also support Lapeer, Tuscola, Huron County Habitat for Humanity. They do home repairs and more for Veterans in need; we help where we can! This collaboration between Posts has never been done before and we want this to be the event of the year! Which is why we are ordering a limited number of Challenge Coins to commemorate this event! Coins will be provided to every rider that registers, one coin per bike. If there are any extras at the end, they will be for sale to those that attend. Pre-Register to reserve yours! Poker Run will start at AMVETS Post 29, registration is from 10am - 11am on June 10, 2023. There will be a few people on hand after that time for those that have trouble making it at that time, but please try to make registration at the appropriate time. The ride will end at AMVETS Post 57 Hall in Harper Woods with an amazing dinner prepared by 57 member and Executive Chef Phil Hubert. Amazing desserts will be provided by Post 29's very own Missy Flynn, and believe me, you are gonna want to eat dessert first! There will be raffle baskets and other items, as well as 50/50. Drinks will be available for purchase in the Clubroom as well as beer in the hall. DJ Coop will be spinning the tunes in the hall and he does an amazing job! Dinner will be served starting at 5pm. 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to Strength In Numbers. Together, the Riders organizations are donating the funding for everything to make this event a great one.
