The BAFA Annual Dance Show is a production of Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts. This year's program features classical dance performances by students from both of BAFA's locations in the Bronx and Queens. Students will perform in the bharatanatyam and odissi styles. The performances will be followed by a production of Krishna-Leela, a show produced in partnership with BAFA dance teacher, Shachi Phene. Depicted through the language of bharatanatyam with live music, this nostalgic tale invites audiences to experience the transformative power of childhood and the enduring strength of maternal love.  THE ARTISTS: This production is created, choreographed, and directed by Shachi Phene, with production support provided by Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA).
