Sing Easy: The Magic of You WorkshopAugust 10, 20249:00 am to 4:00 pmLa Salette Shrine Meeting Space947 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703  Come join us for this engaging and immersive singing workshop designed for anyone who would like to improve and enhance their vocal abilities. All skill levels are encouraged to join Debra Lynn, as she creates a safe space to guide attendees through the timeless Bel Canto (Beautiful Singing) mechanics and discover our beautiful, free, effortless and accurate singing voice. Participants will uncover the magic of our bodies in aiding us to sing easily. We will explore the various challenges we face when we sing, including, but not limited to: breath control issues; tonal accuracy; reaching high & low notes; navigating transitional areas; dealing with vibrato; accessing more resonance; creating a ringing sound naturally and helping reverse the signs of aging.  This will be an all-day workshop split into two segments with a one-hour break for lunch. The morning session will be interactive and experiential, allowing each of us to identify our challenges with singing and discover the amazing solutions to those problems. The afternoon session will integrate what we have learned through singing together and in small groups, while Debra coaches Under Glass (optional for all participants). Bel Canto is the fundamental Italian technique from the early 1800's. A professional singer and Direct-Line Scholar of this vocal approach, Debra Lynn has been teaching these mechanics to amateur singers since 1995. Singing Workshop on August 10, 2024 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at La Salette Shrine, 947 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703. Doors will open at 9:00 am. As you are facing La Salette Shrine, you will see the Meeting Center to the right of the Candle Chapel. We will be in the main meeting room and there will be someone there to sign you in and direct you.  Lunch break will be from 12 noon to 1 pm. The La Salette Shrine Snack Bar will be open for participants that want to purchase a sandwich, soup or snacks. You may also bring your own bag lunch and tables will be available outdoors, as well, for seating. Remember to also bring your own water bottle for the day!
