$100 donation for the year to help support women in our community receive the care they need.  Those women who meet the criteria and need assistance with funding for mental health services at Samaritan Counseling Center.

We have seen a dramatic increase in funding assistance requests.  Compared to last year, we have provided funding to more than double the number of people seeking our help. The good news is that more and more people are seeking help. However, the high demand has taken a toll on our funding programs.   We couldn’t have projected the impact and need we would have with   COVID-19.   It has certainly presented a new set of obstacles, and more people needing funding assistance due to loss of jobs or other mental health issues that are a direct result of COVID-19.  We are operating with Dr. Jura, Dr. Corder, 3 PMHNP-BC’s and 2 LCSW/LMSW.  We are always looking to add to our provider team.    Thanks to the support of our loyal Silent Samaritans, Samaritan Counseling Center  has not had to turn anyone away and we would like that streak to continue.
