Opioid Education and Narcan Training

This training provides information on opioids that include street drugs (like heroin) and prescription drugs (like Oxycontin). Opioid overdoses have become an epidemic; in Connecticut, on average, two people die every day from an opioid overdose. By the end of this training you will learn how to administer naloxone, also known as Narcan, which can reverse an opioid overdose in a few minutes.

When: Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 10-11 am

Where: Comstock Community Center
