Julie Ann is happiest when immersed in remote wilderness, traversing Cascadian glaciers, climbing moderate alpine routes, trail-running for hours and hours, or teaching crevasse rescue to a group of aspiring alpinists. In the past several years, she has guided multi-day mountain expeditions in the PNW, ski patrolled, taught Avalanche courses across several different snowpacks, and supported ultra-runners in wilderness settings. She is passionate about empowering people in their pursuit of adventure and deeper connection with the wild places of the world.
