Each adventure focuses on exploring the animals and plants of the given area with a focus on riparian areas, caves, spookiness, birds, or music!

Forest Friday adventures are for ages 4 -12 and all supplies and gear (hydration packs, compasses, maps, pocket knives, head-lamps, name tags, water, magnifying glasses, bug hotels, microscopes and mini-books about the riparian ecosystem) are included along with snacks and a picnic dinner.

Adventurers are supervised by our adult Trail Wizards and Witches and our teen trail Wizards in Training. We maintain a ratio of 3 to 1 (children to staff) maximum, with several staff members on any adventurer certified in first aid.

You may bring/send your own hydration pack if you have one, please let us know so we cna bring the right number! Please do not bring water bottles or tiny backpacks (If it can not hold a 1.5 liter hydration pack along with snacks materials and dinner it makes it hard for the kids, and water bottles get lost almost immediately almost every time) please do not send electronics/phones/screens of any kind.
