This session, we are partnering with Peak Martial Arts to provide an after-school karate program. Karate will be held at Allen Road rather than having to go to an outside studio! During the course, participants will learn valuable life skills such as focus, confidence and respect while enjoying a fun karate lesson. All proceeds from this program are being donated to Allen Road and students will also be given a Peak Martial Arts T- shirt to wear to classes! If registering for this program, please note that the karate studio will be given your contact information for future communication. There will be an optional belt ceremony at Peak Martial Arts on 11/15 at 12pm.

 Students will be creating different types of slime each week and be able to bring them home. Slimes featured in this session will be fluffy slime, clear slime, and glitter slime! A great way to make slime but not have to make a mess at home! This group will be kept small as it is a very hands-on, interactive experience!

We are thrilled to launch a new hands-on STEAM adventure in the library! Using LEGO Education SPIKE Essential kits, students will combine colorful LEGO bricks, motorized hardware, and drag-and-drop block coding to bring their creations to life. Each week, students will work in small teams to solve story-based engineering challenges—building motorized devices, programming lights and sounds, and testing their designs. This program is designed to build confidence in computational thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving in an engaging, play-based environment.
