They&rsquo;ll discover what directors are really looking for and leave with practical tips they can use at every audition&mdash;from choosing material to walking into the room with confidence. Beyond audition techniques, students will strengthen valuable life skills like public speaking, creative thinking, self-confidence, and resilience&mdash;all while having fun and with theater friends in a supportive, encouraging environment. Whether your child dreams of landing a leading role or simply wants to feel more confident taking the stage, this workshop will give them the tools to perform at their very best. During the workshop, students will have the opportunity to practice common audition elements such as slating, cold reads, song cuts, and simple movement combinations. They&#39;ll receive encouraging feedback and tips they can use at future auditions, whether they&#39;re preparing for&nbsp;Murder in the Knife Room,&nbsp;Beetlejuice JR., or another upcoming production. Actors are welcome to bring prepared audition materials if they&#39;d like feedback on a song, monologue, or audition cut.
