Kinusaiga is a unique Japanese art technique that creates beautiful, textured pictures without sewing, needles, or glue. Fabric scraps are carefully tucked into carved grooves in a foam or polystyrene board to create colorful, detailed designs. Instructor Marsha Schmuck will provide students with an 8x10 foam board and an assortment of patterns to choose from. A variety of fall colored fabric will be available for you to use but feel free to bring your own fabric, if you'd like.
