Calling All Volunteers in the Kansas City Area!&nbsp; Walkin&rsquo; &amp; Rollin&rsquo; Costumes is hosting our Fall Workshop, and we need your help bringing magic to life for some incredible kids in walkers and wheelchairs!&nbsp; Join us at the Hammerspace Community Workshop as we kick off the construction of several epic, custom-made costumes. Whether you&#39;re a maker, builder, designer, artist&mdash;or just love using your hands and heart to make a difference&mdash;there&rsquo;s a role for you.&nbsp; You&#39;ll get to:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="255" data-start="94" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">See the costume designs in action&nbsp;</li><li data-end="255" data-start="94" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Help measure and fit costumes to each child&rsquo;s wheelchair or walker&nbsp;</li><li data-end="255" data-start="94" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Work alongside other creative, passionate volunteers&nbsp;</li><li data-end="255" data-start="94" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">And most importantly&mdash;help build unforgettable costumes that will truly change lives</li></ul>The Workshop is split into 2 days&mdash;come for one or both!&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="255" data-start="94" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">DAY 1: Saturday, September 12 (10:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM)&nbsp;Perfect for engineers, builders, and hands-on problem solvers. We&rsquo;ll focus on building the frames and structures of the costumes. You&rsquo;ll help shape the skeleton of each design and begin the foundation for what&rsquo;s to come&mdash;gluing, painting, and prepping for Day 2.&nbsp;</li><li data-end="255" data-start="94" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">DAY 2: Sunday, September 13 (10:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM)&nbsp;Ideal for artists and detail-oriented creatives. We&rsquo;ll continue the build with a focus on the decorative shells and finishing touches.
