This class is only open to Veterans, Active Duty, First Responders and Law enforcementThis is a free class, however there is a $20 dollar deposit to ensure we don&#39;t fill up with no shows. This will be refunded at the class.If this deposit causes a financial hardship, please reach out to us and we can waive the deposit on a case by case basis. Join us for a hands-on blacksmithing class where you&rsquo;ll forge your own feather hook from steel. This project is beginner-friendly and a great introduction to the fundamentals of forging, including tapering, drawing out, and texturing. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you&rsquo;ll learn traditional blacksmithing techniques to shape and detail your piece, leaving with a finished hook that&rsquo;s both functional and meaningful. This class is offered exclusively to those who serve &mdash; veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and law enforcement &mdash; as part of our mission to provide community, skill-building, and creative outlet through the forge.
