February Crafts Session: Designing Terra Cotta Pots

February Crafts Session

Join us for a creative and fun afternoon.  Unleash your imagination with acrylic paint pens to decorate terra cotta flower pots for your own garden, to give as a gift, or just for the sheer fun of it! Marija Lasalde, NBV neighbor and artist, will demonstrate the basics of working with the materials, and provide on-the-spot guidance as needed to your afternoon project. Once you learn the techniques, you can apply paint pens in creating all sorts of designs on your own with glass, rocks, wood, canvas, or metal. All supplies/materials will be provided for the crafting event, including 6-inch terra cotta pots, paint pens, stencils and primer.  However, please bring your imagination and willingness to work with perhaps a new group of tools.  The crafts session will be held in the lower level meeting room at the Davis Library. Registration for the session costs $10 per person.  Up to 18 spots are available.
