Join our field trip to the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve and experience Bald Eagles in the wild, where conservation work truly begins. Learn how habitat, behavior, and seasonal cycles shape their lives along the Chilkat River. Guided by a Naturalist and Photography Expert, you&rsquo;ll observe eagles and get a chance at high-quality photography, discuss local ecology, and explore how everyday choices support healthy habitats. Your visit helps us advance education and stewardship for these birds and the ecosystem in which they live in.&nbsp; INFO: You will gather at the American Bald Eagle Foundation at 8:45am. From there, you will be shuttled out to the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve where you will spend a few hours observing the wonders of Alaska and enjoying the company of Bald Eagles!&nbsp; WHAT TO BRING: 1. Couple of snacks2. Hot Tea or Water3. Warm winter clothes (Make sure to layer. Alaska weather can be unpredictable)4. Camera with fully charged battery
