Fields of Conflict XIII: The Biennial International Conference in Conflict Archaeology is an archaeology conference that brings archaeologists, academics, and heritage professionals together to discuss recent developments in the field of Conflict Archaeology, This thirteenth meeting of the conference will take place at the University of Glasgow in Scotland from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September 2026. Celebrating more than a quarter of a century of conflict archaeology, the conference programme features more than a hundred paper presentations on the physical and experiential remains of inter and intra-group violence, from prehistory to the present day.
