Using your preferred mediums, you and your greatest vision for yourself as an artist are the curriculum. &nbsp; Each of the three in-person workshops during your year-long experience are designed to move you further along on your creative journey toward better developing an artist voice that is uniquely yours.<div dir="auto" fr-original-style="" style="width: 100%; line-height: 1.5; box-sizing: inherit;"><div dir="auto" fr-original-style="" style="line-height: 1.5; box-sizing: inherit;"> </div></div>What do you already know about your individual concerns and values as they define your art? Is your art as personal and unique as you would like it to be or does it feel like a generic collection of techniques and approaches without the power you seek it to have? You are the expert on what your art can be. This creative journey begins with 6 days exploring your relationship with your art at Adamah Art Studio. Through a combination of individual critique, group discussion and art-based creative exercises, your search for personal expression will be expanded and more clearly defined. You will leave the Voice workshop with a plan for the upcoming year and return to your studio with focus, renewed motivation, a peer group, and a mentor to help keep you on track.&nbsp; Who is a prime candidate for the Finding Your Voice Workshop?This workshop is perfect for the professional who feels stale, for the amateur who wants to develop their body of work, or anyone who wants to take their art-making to a deeper, more personal level based in your own values and beliefs. You should be comfortable with at least one medium, but mixed-media artists working in a range of 2-d media are welcome. This workshop is not technically oriented. Creatives of all ages with any level of expertise will benefit the Voice workshop.&nbsp;You will NOT be learning Helen Klebesadel&#39;s painting techniques in the journey workshop. Instead, this workshop is designed to help you find YOUR voice in any media. Helen will encourage you to deepen your personal understanding of your visual expressions, bringing your unique artist&#39;s voice to your art and career.In addition to individual and group critique/discussions we will be exploring a number of creative art-based exercises designed to free up your thinking about your creative process, and to use your own life as a source that can be the bases of future explorations in art.&nbsp;Helen will offer exercises specific to your interests and goals.<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" type="disc"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">You do not need to know how to draw to use this process.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">You do not need to already call yourself an artist</li></ul>The further you can put any traditional artistic concerns from you the better. This is also a chance to expand your approach and explore new media. Essentially you have permission to use any of the materials you have to create images. You can draw, collage, sew, bead, glue, smear, wrap, sew, bind, or anything else that seems right for you to get the image you want. Often times you may find yourself creating symbols for things that only you can really &lsquo;read&rsquo;.&nbsp;Join us for a year-long creative journey in which you will expand your artist&#39;s voice, define your goals, and create a plan of action for the future that is based in how you define success.
