A concert fundraiser for the MV Diversity Coalition&nbsp;and the MVDC Living Legends Project Fire &amp; Song brings our community together around music, story, and shared commitment. Your participation supports the Martha&rsquo;s Vineyard Diversity Coalition&rsquo;s work to confront racism in everyday institutions. Fire &amp; Song&nbsp;&nbsp;is the culmination of internationally acclaimed pianist Joel A. Martin&#39;s personal journey to explore the music of Komitas &mdash;the celebrated Armenian composer. Fresh from a recent appearance at Carnegie Hall, Martin&rsquo;s distinctive work crosses boundaries between classical, jazz, and cultural traditions. He will be joined by celebrated vocalist&nbsp;Theresa Thomason, whose work is rooted in the rich traditions of gospel and African American musical heritage. Her voice bridges historical and contemporary expression, adding another rich layer to the cultural conversation at the heart of Fire &amp; Song.
