This wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent‑Perrier to craft « La Cuvée », a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in our cellars. Laurent‑Perrier’s style and personality are defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay.
Bright Oregon Pinot Gris from a valley pioneer. Ripe pear, lime, white flowers, and wet-stone minerality with crisp, juicy acidity. Fresh, clean, and food-friendly—perfect with seafood, salads, and weeknight dinners.
The 2024 Mannequin opens with a gorgeous white gold that slowly fogs up the glass, being served slightly chilled. Aromatic notes of white flowers, key lime and praline come through with a touch of caramel. The palate is generous and bright with a vein of acidity throughout and notes of Meyer lemon, apricot, white pepper and graham cracker. Closing at length, hints of white peach and peanut brittle bow out gracefully.
Pouring a dark purple core with a shimmering mauve rim, the 2024 Abstract pops with immediate notes of ripe blue fruits—blueberry compote specifically—halved pluots, raspberry, freshly watered lavender and musk. Secondary aromatics of mocha and caramel come through as one transitions to the palate. Massive on entry, the wine shows off dark briar fruits, rhubarb, thyme and Bing cherry as the mid-palate full of texture presents itself. Closing with length, the wine finishes with sweet licorice and boysenberry coupled with chains of soft tannins.
Caymus California Cabernet Sauvignon, from the Wagner family who have been making wine in Rutherford since the early 1970s, is one of California's most beloved Cabernets, known for its bold, plush, generous style. It pours a deep, inky purple and opens with ripe blackberry, black cherry, and cassis layered over cocoa, vanilla, and toasted oak. On the palate it is full-bodied and velvety, with lush dark fruit, mocha, and sweet spice, framed by soft, polished tannins that lead to a long, rich finish. It is delicious now and pairs beautifully with ribeye, prime rib, braised short ribs, or smoked brisket.
Caymus has a signature style that is dark in color, with rich fruit and ripe tannins – as approachable in youth as in maturity. Since its founding in 1972, Caymus has become renowned as a consistent leader in the production of Napa Valley Cabernet. Grapes for this wine are farmed in a range of Napa’s sub-appellations – from Coombsville to Calistoga – with fruit from the valley floor creating lushness and the hillsides providing backbone. Diversification enables us to make the best possible wine in a given year, featuring layered, lush aromas and flavors, including cocoa, cassis and ripe berries.
