Flags for Heroes is a celebration of the people who make a difference in our lives. Heroes come into our lives in many ways. They may be a parent or grandparent, a teacher or mentor, a veteran or first responder, a friend, neighbor, coach, or community leader. What makes them a hero isn&rsquo;t a title or a uniform. It&rsquo;s the difference they made in someone&rsquo;s life. Each flag represents one of those people. This fall, more than 200 American flags will transform the Charles J. Everett Memorial Park in Goshen into a field of honor. Your sponsored flag will recognize your personal hero and include a commemorative medallion bearing their name.
