Are you an overwhelmed caregiver who knows you &quot;should take care of yourself,&quot; but you don&#39;t know where to begin? Are you part of the &quot;sandwich generation,&quot; caring for both your children and your parents? Are you a long-distance caregiver?This 75&ndash;90 minute creative gathering is designed for you. Why 75&ndash;90 minutes? Because I know your time is precious. For some, leaving after 75 minutes may be necessary. Others are welcome to stay for the full 90 minutes. With that in mind, we&#39;ll begin promptly so you can make the most of the time you have. What this is&mdash;and what it isn&#39;tThis isn&#39;t an instructional art class, and I&#39;m not an art therapist. I&nbsp;am a lifelong artist, a long-distance sandwich-generation caregiver (three kids here, two parents there), and someone who believes that caregivers need spaces where they can simply breathe, create, and be with others who understand. Over the years, I&#39;ve facilitated community creative workshops for people from many walks of life, including individuals in recovery and members of Denver&#39;s Safe Outdoor Space community. Again and again, I&#39;ve witnessed the quiet healing that can happen when people gather around a table, make something with their hands, and realize they don&#39;t have to carry everything alone. You don&#39;t need to be an artist to attend! Come exactly as you are. 🤍 This will be a welcoming, judgment-free space to create, connect, or simply enjoy a little quiet. You&#39;re welcome to join the conversation or spend the entire time making art in peaceful silence. Before we leave, I&#39;ll simply ask that we honor one another by keeping personal stories shared here within the group. I&#39;ll have a variety of art supplies available, along with a few optional creative prompts if you&#39;d like a place to begin. There are no expectations, no critiques, and no grades&mdash;just an opportunity to slow down, play, and spend time with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of caregiving.Sometimes the greatest gift is simply remembering that we aren&#39;t alone.
