Stand With History. Become a Pillar of Preservation.

The Pillar Membership honors the historic home of Howard Academy at 306 NW 7th Avenue. Inspired by that address, the $30.60 membership contribution symbolizes a special connection to the place where generations of history, education, achievement, and community have been preserved.

Just as pillars provide strength and support to a building, our members provide strength and support to our mission.

By becoming The Pillar, you are helping the Friends of Marion County Black History Museum preserve photographs, artifacts, documents, stories, and memories that tell the African American history of Howard and communities throughout Marion County.

Your $30.60 contribution may be small, but together, our Pillars create a strong foundation for preserving our history for generations to come.
