LXCL:Membership fee covers registration fees, materials, weekly training at our Discovery Center. The team will meet on Mondays to build their robot and practice. Competitions are scheduled to begin in October.

Grades 7-12, Ages 12-18 FIRST&reg; Tech&nbsp;Challenge (FTC) is an international robotics competition program. FTC teams&nbsp;are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in local competitions, with the possibility of advancing to national and international levels. The robot can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Teams design and build robots, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach to earn specific awards.
