Celebrate the full Wolf Moon with a walk on the trails of Fairview Farm! Led by Director of Education Lauren Theis, we will enjoy an easy walk through the meadows and up a small hill where we will join together for a great big HOWL! Bundle up and enjoy an evening of community, nature, and celebration! This event is recommended for teens, adults, and families with children ages 6 and up. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants may bring a flashlight but we will kindly request that all flashlights be turned OFF during the hike for optimal star/moon-gazing!! This event is part of our collaboration with Friluftsliving Family and Gnome Matter the Weather. We hope this series of events will help inspire you to get outside with your loved ones, even through the cold, dark (and beautiful!) days of winter! Accessibility: This program will be held on grass trails, mostly level but with a short, steep incline halfway through the hike. The full walk will be about ¾ mile. Please reach out to Lauren at ltheis@raritanheadwaters.org for any questions or to chat about how we can make this program more accessible to you!
