An evening for the next generation. Two years ago, we gathered to honor Tombossa Negusse and launch a foundation in his name. Tombossa fled war in Eritrea as a teenager, earned his degrees in Oklahoma, and built a life in Dallas defined by family, enterprise, and generosity. He dreamed of opening doors for young people in our community. This November, we celebrate how far that dream has already come. Our first scholars, Mattania at SMU and Elim at Texas Tech, are now in college, and our community continues to invest in the future of Eritrean and East African youth. Join us for dinner, music, a silent auction, and words from the students whose education your support makes possible. Why it matters. Every ticket supports our scholarship and mental wellness programs. Our scholarships provide $2,500 to $5,000 per student each year, and this night helps fund our next class of scholars.
