This collaborative artwork was created by the Elementary classroom. It is inspired by Maria Montessori’s vision of peace and cosmic education. Each square is a personal reflection of what peace means and our interconnectedness with the natural world. Using colors and patterns, the students expressed their unique voices while contributing to a unified whole - just as each of us has a role to play in creating a more peaceful and harmonious world. This painting is a heartfelt message from our children: peace begins with each of us.
