On Friday, July 17th, the No Divide takes over Smalter Gallery for the opening night of Queer Narratives 2026. This is our annual visual arts reunion commemorating seven years of bringing queer artists to the center of the stage and honoring the art that emerges when creators navigate the world through queer lived experiences. This year you&#39;ll experience:<ul data-path-to-node="15" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Western European medieval imagery and printmaking reimagined through a trans lens.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Hand-tufted domestic rugs transforming familiar household objects into soft, intimate sanctuaries.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Grotesque yet delicate sculptural forms that directly reclaim physical autonomy and challenge mainstream standards of desire.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Layered oils and watercolors processing themes of conversion therapy survival, emotional states of &quot;becoming,&quot; and dreamscapes that verbalize the intangible.</li></ul>DJ Jon Sabill&oacute;n will be spinning a live set helping us break the standard of iced galleries and bring all the queer joy for our artists!<ul data-path-to-node="22" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Light refreshments will be available.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The reception runs from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
