Gamma Beta Chapter of Sigma Global Nursing Excellence (formerly know as Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing) will host it&#39;s 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Holiday Inn 10000 Baltimore Ave., College Park, MD 20740.Howard University &#39;s College of Nursing Program was the first HBCU in the country to become a chapter in this Prestigious International Honor Society of Nursing in 1976. &nbsp;Since that time, it has distinguished itself with many nursing students, Community Nurse leaders and Faculty from DC, MD, and VA who are recognized as contributing members in all aspects of the nursing profession in local, national and international arenas. &nbsp;We invite you to join us at our landmark celebration of this event by purchasing a ticket to attend the luncheon and/or purchasing a congratulatory ad or becoming a patron. &nbsp;The first 100 (one hundred) persons to purchase a ticket and are Sigma members will receive a special commemorative gift. &nbsp;&nbsp;Once an ad is purchased, please email a camera ready/digital ready copy of the ad to Gwen Johnson at gwenjoh@msn.com. &nbsp;&nbsp;
