Mary has been a storyteller since she could talk. As a child Mary made the “Let’s
Pretend” games. Now she and her characters play that same game, but her characters
insist their stories are real. She taught Language Arts/English for 15 years and began
writing books when she retired. She is Georgia bred and Georgia raised and wouldn’t
live anywhere else. The times she tried she missed her southern roots.
Mary aims at readers’ heart strings and loves to tease with sensuous scenes. She edits
for freelance clients and coaches writers. She Indie published 10 novels, a collection of
Christmas stories, and a grammar book.
Teaching online classes and giving workshops makes Mary’s inner teacher happy.
Helping folks take their ideas and turn them into books pleases Mary’s inner writer and
