Included are a c. 1715 pentachord-a type of early 5 string violoncello, a rare British viola d&#39;amore, or &quot;love viol&quot;, and sultana- an Irish instrument combining cittern and viola d&#39;amore. He fronts a quartet version of his renowned Jambaroque ensemble, featuring Thomas Aber-bass clarinet, bagpipes of multiple cultures; Steven Brown-mandocello, cittern; and Serdar Tuncten-rare middle eastern drums. Their unique, unmistakable sound blends Celtic, Eastern and baroque elements with improvisation, connecting cultures through the ages.
