n just one morning, Glendora Rotary volunteers and community partners come together to package 30,000 meals for those in need. This hands-on service project is a powerful example of what can happen when people unite to make a difference.

For more than two decades, the Glendora Rotary Club partnered with the Rosarito Rotary Club to provide vision screenings and eyeglasses for children in Rosarito and surrounding communities in Mexico.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when Glendora Rotarians were unable to travel, the Rosarito Rotary Club continued the program using the Focometer device donated by the Glendora Rotary Club. Their dedication ensured that children continued to receive critical vision care even during challenging times.

Thanks to their successful stewardship of the project, the Glendora Rotary Club is now able to broaden its focus and address children’s vision needs closer to home.

You can sponsor a flag in honor of your hero. Each flag will include a dedication tag with the honoree’s name and message. At the end of the event, sponsors may take their flag home as a keepsake or donate it for future displays.
